Had my hair cut by an Iraqi barber today, neat haircut, now I look like a terrorist.
He promised my father a free haircut if they could converse in Arabic, although its been a long time since he spoke the language.
Its closer than my usual place, will go back and get my hair done more often.

getting a haircut is a 'good thing that happened in your life'? wow you really don't get out much, do you.

My two good deeds for the day:

Paying the mechanic for the wheel bearings he missed off the bill

Listening to a refugee telling me how great it is to be in Australia

I talked to an aide today that was from Egypt. She is Coptic and has been here 20 years. Coptics aren't refugees but the Muslims in Egypt treat them poorly. They are still treated better than Muslims in Israel though. That really says a lot about Israel. Maybe it is something about Judaism. I mean the U.S. does put children in cages on the border but at least we don't blockade and airstrike Mexico.

Oh, you're right. I forgot Native Americans exist. At least we gave them land and casinos. Maybe that is what Gaza needs to do. Build some casinos.

Good 2 cavities filled. I went in there expecting a root canal. The dentist said it looked worse on the x-ray than it really was. So I just needed cavities filled and the tooth will live another day.

Also saved at least $600 avoiding a root canal.

Saving any amount of money in American health is nice. Especially at the dentist's. Teeth are a luxury item.

Taking advantage of an orgy joke is not not worth passing up an opportunity to mock health care pricing over here. srs bns

Caught up with a uni chum. He has less hair than I do. Serves him right for mocking me a few years ago.

Went to a soccer match. Sellout crowd. Haven't been to one since March 2020. We lost but it was nice being there.

Now that Pride Month is over it is safe for Christians like me to go outside again.
