China never really was on any other path than dictatorial reign. Brazil is indeed a shitshow. But those handful of examples don't somehow show a global pattern indicating that Russia's situation is in any way normal or just part of the times - which is what you're insinuating.
substitute trump and his crew for putin and his. see much difference? i don't.
capitalism only ends in one of two ways - fascism or a socialist revolution. see much socialism around the world? i don't.
Seems to me you're finding reasons to just sit and hold tight. However deep your country may slide, you'll just watch and argue it was all going to shit anyway.
i'm not a revolutionary. my health is shit, and my economic situation is worse. i can post some e-letters here though, so there.
I applaud the momentary lucidity you're showing here in saying that Russia is in dire straits and that people are in denial. But Shahter, if strong-arming and slandering any critic of the Kremlin seems part of Putin's day-to-day business, is it any surprise you're heading into dictatorship?
every political and social system based on on economic classes - aka "state" - is a dictatorship of the ruling class. russia is no different in that regard from any other capitalist nation.
How easy is it for them to label anyone that opposes the status quo as 'a western puppet'?
i dunno. how easy it is to fabricate a video of the fuckers going in and out of usa embassy?
Then as a last move, after thoroughly discrediting the opposition, the critics end up mysteriously dead or poisoned. There's 'accidents', outright murders, either radioactive traces or in some recent cases no traces at all. And you all sit there thinking 'oh well, didn't like them anyway'.
trumps, putins, clintons, bidens - whoever you have there - they may poison however many of each other's puppets they want. good riddance as far as i'm concerned.
if you open your mind too much your brain will fall out.
