Cutting in line is rude and inconvenient for people behind you at worst.

You're right that it's probably not worth starting an argument over, but that's barely changed regardless of who's cutting in front of you. If you're not being an obnoxious, racist Karen on camera you probably don't have much to fear by way of internet repercussions. Though personally, even if I'm the picture of chill in such an encounter, I'd rather avoid being put up onto someone's twitter or facebook page at all, let alone being captured at a *ugh* walmart.

Speaking of which, Walmart doesn't exactly lack a reputation for obnoxious shoppers. Go to Home Depot or something next time. I've never had someone intentionally cut the line at a hardware store.

BLM are doing more to uphold the american virtues than you. you’re just some slug who is trying to find his own crawl space in the status quo.
At this point I think the protests are over and its mostly anarchists and people who think its cool to throw bottles at the police out on the streets.

the protests are not over at all. huge numbers of people are still coming out every day to protest.

this is the EXACT wrong take on the issue. the 'explosive' riots and looting took place on the first few days, when anger simmered over. since then, it has been mostly organized protest and continued remonstrations.

President Trump reaffirmed late Tuesday that he would veto this year’s proposed $740 billion annual defense bill if an amendment is included that would require the Pentagon to change the names of bases named for Confederate military leaders, his strongest rebuke against the measure amid a national reckoning over systemic racism.

Shortly before midnight, the president echoed his previous pledge to “not even consider the renaming” of military bases as part of the National Defense Authorization Act, pushing back against a provision that would change the names of 10 bases named after Confederate generals as well as remove Confederate likenesses, symbols and paraphernalia from defense facilities nationwide within three years.
Oh no. Please don't veto the defense bill. That money is important please don't do it. /Sarcasm

day 30 of BLM protests in new york.

jay only wants to talk about it when bins get lit on fire.

dilbert insists it’s only antifa showing up who want to hurt police.

confusing !

institutional racism and literal death is bad and stuff, but did you hear about the reporters that got beat up? Truly horrifying! I totally sympathize with BLM, I get it, I really do, but I just can't get over the fact that when police kill black people, their response is to beat up a reporter. I mean, what the hell, guys?

Is the thing about reporters beaten up even true? I couldn't find anything without context of location, so I dunno.

In New Jersey, Attorney General Gurbir Grewal has announced the state will soon require police to be licensed, a change that goes along with his earlier promise that the state’s Police Training Commission will “reinvigorate” and “revamp” the training recruits are receiving.

But there’s one change academics and some police reformers have been suggesting for years that just hasn’t gained traction: requiring cops to have a college degree.

“There is research that does talk about how higher-educated officers have fewer citizen complaints against them, they perform better at the academy, they have fewer disciplinary actions against them and, low and behold, they are also less likely to use deadly force,” said Manish Madan, associate professor of criminal justice at Stockton University.

it's almost as bad as fake engineers passing out of naval colleges with zero academic pedigree.

Rutgers is a diploma mill for New Jersey's shitty suburban kids that couldn't get into any other school. What's the out of state percentage of the population? 2% tops?
