Does anyone here like Magic the Gathering? It's a great time to get into Magic especially paper magic right now. I also play Magic Arena often and would like to introduce you to the hobby I blow my "become an adult" money on.

Tell me more about this squirrel deck.Pochsy wrote:
I had a pretty decent squirrel deck back in the Odyssey days. Couple of friends tried the Magic Area and said it's not the same when you can't smell the Redbull on your opponent's breath at 10am on a Saturday in the hobby shop's back room. Girthstone feel isn't my jam, and it looks similar.
I'd love to. Nut Collectors were the heat of the build, 4 of them. Then you need some Squirrel Mobs, again 4. For enchantments, I had some card (Spider Silk was it?) that give +0/1 with flying. So now we've got flying squirrels. The key to the whole thing was staying alive long enough to get critical mass. If the game passed turn 15 or so it was almost a guaranteed win.SuperJail Warden wrote:

I've only seen the sequels, Nut Smugglers and Nut Patroluziq wrote:
nut collectors. wasn't that a gay porno?
lol, accidental. My friends all call it girthstone, so without thinking I typed it out that way. I had to actually think for a second to remember the real name of the game.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
was girthstone an intentional typo or do you talk about girth enough to have your phone autocomplete?
