they still produce tulips but i mean the stereotype doesn't have a whole lot of valency anymore. it's not like when people mention the netherlands here, everyone goes "tulips!" it would be like going on about carpet-bagging yankies or something.Jay wrote:

that's only part of the reason. that place is pretty disgusting. you can get a lot more than just weed there too. actually whenever police do go there now, there is loads of unrest and trouble. it's just become more hassle than it's worth.Ultrafunkula wrote:
In Copenhagen there's a small community/area called Christiania. They grow/sell/smoke weed all they want and the cops don't do a thing about it. Why? Cause the people living ther don't stir shit up.
There was a documentary about the place on TV a couple months ago. It has been cleaned up a bit and seems to be going in a better direction. But yeah, wouldn't go there after sunset myself.uziq wrote:

Anyway whats 15 or 20% you tip a bellhop or casino dealer (its also illegal to tip casino dealers). As for a taxi, do you tip the bus driver?

My phone is past 2 years old and I'm looking to get a new one. Google Fi and a Nexus 5x is starting to looking damn tempting.
I don't need a huge phone and don't do much that's taxing so the 6 and 6p are way overkill for my needs. I rarely make phone calls so the Fi system will probably work for me. Also the $45 /mo instead of Verizon's $95 is a draw. And why were on it, fuck Verizon and their fucking company. A small step above Comcast if you ask me.
If anybody has any input i'm all ears.
i can't remember the last time i've taken the bus (public transit is terrible in OC), but i don't recall ever tipping them.DrunkFace wrote:
