I treat him well. Just a hour ago I gave him a handful of Swedish Fish just because I appreciate him.pirana6 wrote:

Same Shiite I was doing before at the same place. I hate it and wish I was doing something else but at $21.50 a hour, it pays a lot more than an entry level at an office or in my field. Trust me, I have looked. I am going to take the civil service exam and hope I get into the state troopers or county sheriff's since they keep hiring and have surprisingly low recruiting standards.
Speaking of my job, a coworker blew a HEMI engine in a Chrysler 300 a few minutes ago. He is probably getting fired.

After the post in D&ST I assumed you worked for the CDC...
yeah, he's a field tester. he will fuck a monkey and twenty minutes look in a mirror. when he contracts a disfiguring virus he says to himself "but on me it looks good!"coke wrote:

I bought a Sound Blaster ZxR to replace my Sound Blaster Z. I did some extensive research and apparently the ZxR has a higher quality Texas Instruments headphone amp built in that has a higher SNR and allows it to truly adequately push my 600 ohm Beyer DT880s instead of everything being relatively quiet from the Maxim headphone amp on the Z(which is also a SNR bottleneck on that card according to various audophile forums).
The sound is way fuller and louder now, the bass actually vibrates in the headphones and there's even such a thing as being too loud now whereas it could never get loud enough before. I also don't need to buy an external amp anymore.

Sounds like the perfect job for you: a never ending stream of opportunities to ruin people's days and make their lives miserable. I bet you can just feel the rush and excitement already!SuperJail Warden wrote:

It's too bad they won't give a gun to someone with a history of mental health issues (including sociopathy). Unfortunately that's like the one standard they enforce. Oh well.

The military does take people with criminal records and mental health issues though.
Fuck Israel
What history of mental illness? I was never adjudicated mentally ill. I have a completely clean criminal and mental health record.Jay wrote:

I got my offer letter yesterday and will be officially starting my new field support position on September 15th.
Good day at work, tax return completed, Vintec wine fridge on the way and booked flights to Thailand!
I bought myself a nice, new Volkswagen Passat. It's the first car I've ever chosen instead of being a hand-me-down from older siblings/parents.
It's a perfectly fine car. I own german and they're well put together, just expensive to fix.
Change your oil more often than you think you should and it'll get 250-300k out of it.
