ok im just wondering as to how many people aim for the head as oppsed to the torso. there are some pros and cons to each one

Head- aiming for the head only takes 1-2 bullets to kill a guy depending on what gun you are using. however the head is always harder to hit because it is smaller. however, it may be a good tradeoff because u can kill faster and use less bullets

Torso- a much easier, larger target to hit, and if you are using a decent gun, u have almost a guarenteed hit at mid ranges. The tradeoff is that it takes anywhere from 3-8 shots to kill on the torso, so you will waste more ammo and more time killing the guy.

So where do u aim on a guy?

Torso, becasue the recoil of a controlled AK burst would hit him in the head aswell.

head - when as short ranges with assault guns, and with sniper when not at extremely large ranges

i personally aim for the torso, i rarely aim for the head except when they are really close or when im snping of course

I knew a special forces guy who did lrrp in vietnam, he said two things;
The Vietcong were refered to as zipper heads because when aiming for the torso the recoil would cause the barrel to rise, opening them like a zipper. "Zipperhead"
You rarely had time to aim unless on a ambush as many times they would raise only the rifle above whatever cover there was and this explains the term "spray and pray".
With those historical asides aside, I drop and aim for the head.

I aim at the torso, cause the ROF of most guns will cause me to fire enough bullets into the body to kill him.

Of course, after he's dead and there's no one, i shot his head with my nuts and my gun.
