i thoroughly enjoyed the series, even if i didn't understand some of it. the music was outstanding, and the stories rang true.
Treme had the good sense not to be a biography, but rather a snapshot. you will be missed.

That and rachel but she's outta here. This show is incredibly unrealistic for a show that tries to play itself off as semi-realistic... oh well. I finished just in time for season 3.

Good god what an embarrassment. The last episode I watched had jokes about golden showers and sucking black cock. From day 1 it was easy to tell Clarkson was a complete asshole - to everybody - ON THE SHOW, not just what we didn't see with the producers. How it lasted that many seasons before they canned his ass, I don't know.

Over here we got a guy named Steven Raichlen who casually goes outside to grill all sorts of pieces of animals. He's got a multi-thousand dollar setup on his patio with a normal sized grill, a large grill for larger animals, an enormous smoker, wood burning oven, standard (electric) oven, and more counter space (all granite of course) than I have square footage in my apartment.

I know big John McCarthy has his own too. I listened to a little and he sounds good.

TFATK doesn't appeal to me at all. I will check out Cracked. Joe Rogan's really depends on his guests. I only listen when someone interesting is on. He had the co-founder of vice on recently. Gavin McInnis. Guy is one of the dumbest people I've ever heard.
Bill Burr's is aight. There's a short podcast called Hidden Brain that's interesting. I picked up on it from NPR.

This guy Gavin McInnis was ousted from Vice about 5-7 years ago I think? He's just a blowhard. He takes his very small (and completely distorted) interactions in society as proof of his bigoted statements. Almost a confirmation bias, but it's so outlandish that it left me shaking my head. Joe Rogan essentially called him out on it and laughed him off, but I can't come close to doing his ignorance justice. Have a listen for yourself if you have some time. I'd say a solid 10 minutes will let you know how much of a doofus the guy is.
