Most of my "bugbear" was how they arranged the trees, adding fictional tanks that weren't even blueprints, and odd balancing. It is nice they fixed the arty, though.

Anyway I was considering playing the turreted French arty for laughing moments of just getting the enemy high tier tank up close and spraying several rounds at it, I've heard some stories on world of tanks forums of players doing that, normally with a group that has the same arty vehicle. Don't know how effective that is though since the updates.

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.

Also Warman, try the no vegetation mod. People like to say it is illegal, BUT, Wargaming has very explicitly said there are no banned mods on the NA server as of yet except for 3D hit-skins.

Don't buy into all the bullshit the people on the forums bark about. I did my research and it came directly from SerB's mouth. There are NO banned mods on the NA server as of YET. Until it comes down to being officially banned I will use it.

I doubt that they can or will. It will just be an empty threat to scare most people out of using it. If valve couldn't figure a way around material file wall hacks for counter strike for 10 years I doubt this group of shitty Russian developers will do much better.

Jimbo's contour mod
No scope shadow
No vegetation
No fog
White death
Locastans Minimap
Hangar clock
Rico's vertical tech tree
Obvious tank fire
Realistic gun sounds
XVM
Startup video remover

I just use basic XVM which gives you map mod and some other bits and pieces (don't use the stats), damage taken/given, gun reload timer. I did have the no scope shadow but the old version doesn't seem to work with the new patch, have you got a working version?

I noticed mine wasn't working either. Hadn't paid attention to it lol. I'm sure a fixed version will be released soon.

Also, overall stats finally leveled off in the blue today.

I couldn't imagine having used mods like some of those you mentioned in BF2 without getting a PB ban. As nice as it would be to remove karkand fog for sniping, it would've sorta been cheating.

It doesn't make the other players magically visible though. The Camo system is still there. It does make it slightly easier to shoot targets when they're in the woods though, and it raises your FPS.
