My brother called me on the way back from work, and told me to come up to my high school where he works since it was the last day so we could see how much I could bench press. He's into the working out thing and I've been doing push-ups here and there so he got curious.
I benched 135 5 times, which isn't much I think for somebody who actually works out but damn good for somebody like me who's never lifted in their life(bro). My muscles feel so stiff and awesome right now, lol
You shouldn't benchpress. You should do body weight stuff instead like clapping push ups, supermans, diamonds, spidermans, etc.
Benchpress range of motion (as well as all other types of exercises with weights) is severely limited. Sure you get big and ripped in those "easy-to-see" muscles but you'd still be weaker than a farmer half your weight.
All you need to stay fit is:
- Running (or swimming)
- Pull-ups (and its variants: wide-grip overhand, close-grip underhand, close-grip overhand, switchovers, and the final form muscle ups)
- Push-ups (and its variants: military, diamond, revolver, spiderman, one armed, and the final form planche pushups)
- Squats (and its variants: wall squat hold, squat jumps, pistols, and the final form alternating jumping pistols)
All those juiced up guidos will be fatter than your typical American in 10 years while you'll be fitter than a 20 year old athlete.
Alpha as fuck.
