why do people get piercings/tattoos?

Piercings are nice. I currently have 5 (not counting the ears) ...i removed 2. My oldest is almost 10 years old

Septum is nice if the girl has a small nose and the piercing is small. All the big septum piercings are horrible - but very popular in the last year. It looks cute if you have it like this:
The good side is that you can hide it anytime you want without taking it out, because you just flip it up and no one can see it. I was thinking about getting one a lot but for the moment i think i have enough metal in my face so i dropped that idea
The main problem with piercing is that (as i see it) a lot of people think that EVERYTHING looks good on them. Not every piercing looks good on everyone so i think people should think about their choices a bit more, before getting one because it's popular.

People are so shallow about this. And tattoos also. Pierced and tattooed people usually don't care if you're not tattooed or pierced. People who don't have piercings and tattoos butt into people's business and judge them based on their looks. A piercing or tattoo doesn't change a person on the inside.13rin wrote:
