Hey....

So yeah. It's been weird and such... Is there some sort of messed up in game? I being a Gunnery Sargent beat a First Lieutenant my clan leader for the commander position. We applied quickly, however, I do not have any hacks/programs of any kind. Maybe EA changed it so, higher player does not get it, but the person who applied first?

This is really weird because I don't use hacks and I'm against hacking in games in general... I lost the respect of my clan leader and this is is really weird because I swear to god, I have never hacked in any game before... Any explanations?

its happened to me a few times before too where ive gotten beaten out by people with lower rankings than i had. ive never beaten out someone with a higher rank before though.

...i tried to tell you earlier. come to the dark side! leave that clan and play 1.02! i need my driver points damn it!

Chalk it up to one of the many bugs that will never get fixed, the team on it can't chew gum & walk at the same time.

I get this loads of times, at least 50% of the time I apply for commander.
Load up ingame early, hit the apply button and then some Sgt Major or somebody get's it when I a a captain.
Seriouslywtf?

Here are the possibilities...

1) There is a game bug that occasionally allows lower ranked players to get the "commander" position, even though a higher ranked player applied as well.
- either its always been there or its new to the recent patch.

2) The lower ranked player is using a hack of some kind or another that allows them to get position regardless of who else applies.

That's pretty much it... as far as I can see. Has EA or DICE ever made it known that this type of bug exists?

umm, they had better thread titles than yours?
if there are already 5 threads about it, odds are someone will turn around and say 'omfg noob, use SEARCH'

and then it'll all be gone to pot.

Had it happen to me, just took it as yet more of Dices Half Assed code. I'm saying that phrase too much today, can anyone point me to a nice thread? or do I have to wait for more Air Gear and stare at girls with huge eyes?

On a related note, if you lost the respect of your clan leader for something you didn't even do, you need to find a new clan. People like that are beneath you.

What kind of Clan leader would lose respect for someone who beat them to the Command position???
Seem's kind of childish. As long as you command with any decent skill, the clan leader should just wait until the next round or ask for you to resign as commander so he/she could take it over.

No... I took command because I was a lower rank and I shouldn't have gotten it, because the only way that seems possible is a bug or a hack.

But knowing Dice/EA for what they are, I still find it hard to see how he took the hump with you.

Seems unfair still at this point.

Has he said sorry yet?

No he just said it was funny.... He didn't accuse me of hacking, he was just gonna check it out.
