But in a sea of handguns, how surprising is it that more people die to handguns than rifles or shotguns? Also, if you ban rifles, will deaths to other kinds of firearms go up? Ban pistols, and will that affect the others as well?
Probably not. The biggest factor with handguns is that they're easier to conceal and store than rifles are. Much less effort to pick up a handgun when you're pissed off than a rifle
