Spoiler (highlight to read):
You can jump off a ledge and behead guards mid-fall.
how about let a guard shoot you...stop time...run up to him...possess him....run and back to where the bullet is suspended and let him shoot himself.
Ewww...
That sound like magic, not like Deus Ex/BioShock-style sci-fi.
you're not forced to use it....and those plasmids from bioshock aren't much different...

That's one of the things that kind of turned me off to that game to but if they're not crucial to the game for more than a few things, I think I could deal with that

Only available to US residents.

Use an SSL-capable proxy!
This one worked for me: https://sslbrowser.com

However, this seems to be the GOTY version.
It has the achievements and the Zombatar.
Can't say if it also has the new disco zombie instead of the Michael Jackson thriller one.

I highly recommend this game.

It's provides a very fine mix between tactics and speed. You really need to make a plan of action, since one hit kills you. Just running in and being a fast aimer won't cut it (but it is essential).
It's this combo of fine strategy and quick pace that makes this game truly a wonderful experience.
Of course the music deserves praise as well. It just fits the setting and pace perfectly and makes for an enjoyable experience. It gives this game this feel as if you're in the, more brutal parts, of Drive.
Graphics are simple, but they do their job nicely in providing a good look (not much more to say, considering it's a 2D game).

It's fast, graphic and satisfying. What more could you possibly want for less than a tenner?

Instantly lost points for having a trailer that explained absolutely nothing. Going by that alone I'm going to say it involves a secret underground fight club where people dress up in bunny masks and wail on each other with baseball bats. If it's not that I will be disappointed.

Prepare to be dissapointed.
I was thinking of uploading a gameplay trailer, but it was tricky find a good one that didn't give away the entire game. I assume you know how to use youtube.
Normally i wouldn't even put a trailer in my post but I wasn't aware it was mandatory to post a gameplay trailer these days

If it doesn't have any gameplay whatsoever in the trailer and it's not an already established title, how can anybody understand what the game is like from a trailer like that one?

That must be the biggest Spoiler (highlight to read):

No baseball-bat wielding bunny-mask fight club? Sad-face.

On the upside I may have just discovered a niche...

Edit: Had a look at some gameplay. Looks tedious. Challenging, but not particularly enjoyable.

As to the above, you can vote on which games you think should or shouldn't be on that list. I have a feeling that most people voting here are in their "gotta-fit-in" teens/early 20's coming in from Google News, because the well-known games get an overwhelming approval while the less well-known ones, like Grim Fandango and Thief, while great games...get lackluster support from these voters.

I let my own bias drive me to vote some down. Halo CE.

Finally managed to snag The Missing Link for Deus Ex: Human Revolution on sale for $3.74 from $15.  Still waiting till I get a DirectX 11 card before I play it or finish the vanilla game.  Now my Deus Ex collection is complete though

Btw, anybody on the fence about trying that game, you DEFINITELY should because it's on sale for $5.  Tis one of my favorite games ever.

It's because of the controls. I love Zelda, but I wasted money on the Skyward Sword one and regretted it after half an hour. Even late into the game when I played 10-minute sessions beating bosses that my mother couldn't do I found it just plain bad.

I can't imagine the Wii U controller being very ergonomic
