It was mostly steam when I drove past, the main eruption was a couple of days ago. Means it constantly rains over Turangi township so sucks to be them. This was just Mt. Tongariro which erupted a couple of months ago, will be more interesting if Mt. Ruapehu erupts, (apparently the temperature at the crater lake is rising so could happen.) That mountain last had a major eruption in 1996 just before my Mum and Dad were going to take me up there to learn how to ski. The perils of living on a volcanic earthquake-ridden island.

I have now made the transition from Windows XP to Windows 7. Windows 7 is pretty cool. Still dont really like the way they organise documents and shit though.
