i like to kill everyone in a really stealthy way, so i'm 100% undetected

I liked Thief because it didn't really reward you for going loud. Great stealth game.

Played the shit out of Blood Money, looking forward to this.
It was a blast, stealthy...

...or otherwise.

Though the latter took most of the fun out of the game in fairly short order.

Not sure what Square Enix will make of it, but it's gotta be better than the shit the producer's giving Saints Row 3 when talking about making #4 less crass and more accessible to a wider audience.

Bought this last night. I think this will be the first PC game that keeps me entertained longer than a week.

Anyone else get it?

I will be getting it eventually for certain. I just really hope it's at least as good as blood money was, I loved the shit out of that game

I hope it's not like Silent Assassin(and probably the older Hitman games too that I haven't played) where you have to walk everywhere to avoid alerting people.  I liked how Blood Money let you move at your own pace, it made it easier to time things in that game.  You have to "skate" in order to be able to accomplish anything in Silent Assassin in any reasonable amount of time.

That was sort of the point. Act casual until you could kill your target or arrange for his accident.

Yeah, I totally understand it for the realism aspect but there's also the issue of getting anywhere in time to do anything, like catching a soldier looking away in a convenient spot before he turns away and resumes patrolling his mile-long route and you had to wait another 5 minutes(5 minutes you might not have depending on the mission) just for him to come back to that same spot.  Skating can negate it by allowing you to move fast without fully arousing suspicion but it's extremely unrealistic and just shouldn't be necessary.

I can't speak for Contracts or Agent 47, not having played them, but Silent Assassin was terrible with that, walking everywhere just wasn't time-efficient enough.  But if they did it right I'm sure it could actually work in Absolution

good game but could be better, very immersion breaking at times

theres a mission that ends when you enter an elevator, i entered with guards uniform on and a number or different weapons equiped.

when the next mission started and i exited the elevator with my suit on and silverballers + fibrewire

That's how I beat the 2nd game, lol.  I was in like 7th or 8th grade and rented it for XBox and beat it by killing everybody almost every time except the Russian missions, lol.  I only got Silent Assassin on one or two missions, which included the one where you have to assassinate the two Russian generals in the park, which was surprisingly easy.
