BF2S Forums Need opinions.

I would go for at least a 7800GT because with the 6800GT you would not really see much of a difference from a 6600GT. And yeah, another gig of RAM. I run everything on high with no problems whatsoever.

Are you kidding a 6600gt to a 6800gt thats a huge jump.Or get a 6800 ultra.And if you wanted ram i think you missed your chance tiger direct was having a sale on ram 512 sticks for 9 dollars a piece.My brothers ordering them.Also tiger direct was selling 7800 gts for 299.99 you should check on that also.

Alright guys..
I bought AOE3, and pre-ordered MarioKart DS and Animal Crossing DS(hoorah for online play!)

anyways... I've decided on going with the ram. BUT. since getting another 2x512 dual channel kit will fill up all 4 of my slots, that will turn my timings from 1T to 2T. so I'm going to spend a *little* more and get 2x1gb sticks. . so I can keep my 1T timings...and then perhaps sell my 2x512 sticks. although this will cost a lot more..(instead of spending 80, I'll be spending atleast 200 lol) it will be better in the long run.

and maybe for christmas I can get a 6800GT or even a 7800GT... maybe I can find some good prices around that time.

I played the demo and loved it. I really, really, really want it.

Yeah, I had the demo as well. I fell in love with it. after I figured out how to play.. lol.. so much different than the original AOE... I think on the Demo you can't get passed level 9 cities. because I was like well over 200k xp and I was not going up any more levels.
