This is a long one...
So I've been doing online dating for awhile now and had my fair share of crazies, normals, sluts, etc. I even met a girl (which became an ex) off of the site I was at (PlentyOfFish). Anyways, about 1.5 months ago, I stumbled upon a profile of a very unique girl. She listed hobbies of "gaming, dungeons & dragons, hacking, game of thrones, rift, secret world, forgotten realms books, sci-fi, cosplay, etc." Those interests certainly got a peak outta me because I'm very well a nerd myself. I messaged her and we bantered back and forth exchanging our system specs, games we played, etc.
Then we exchanged our Skype usernames. A few days later, we started to video skype and I thought we hit it off really well. She mentioned that she worked for the US government or something (she showed me her Department of Defense Uniformed Services badge). She mentioned that she could not talk about it because its a national security thing. I had my doubts to that but didn't really care at the time. Anyways, we set up a meeting date but she fails to contact me that day. I caught her on Skype again and she mentioned she was waiting for me to call her but forgot to give me her number (she had mine though). Ok, I let that one go.
We really exchanged numbers this time. She mentions that she'd be gone for the next few days to Montreal for a work assignment which was fine. I texted her a bit and she was very unresponsive (she replied back once or twice). She dismantled her phone and removed her SIM card to talk about how the US government can listen in on any conversation using any phone remotely (apparently her job gives her some access to this information). She comes from a rich family/upbringing. The big revelations she mentioned to me are that:
1. She was engaged at 20 years old (she is currently 26) but her fiancee went overseas for military deployment and never came back...
2. She travels alot because of her job and will be travelling on September 21 to South Korea. It will be her last contract assignment according to her.
3. She is heavy into the Dungeons & Dragons and Role Playing scene.
4. She seems to be quiet sheltered and doesn't know some basic routes in the city (her rich family kept a heavy eye on her).
5. She was heartbroken for her fallen fiancee and only started dating again recently, she hinted that I might have been the first person she met online.
6. She graduated high school at 14 and has an IQ of 156. She ended up going to Culinary Arts at George Brown.
Anyways, the date lasted for maybe 4 or 5 hours. I drive her back to her grandparents place (she didn't want to be seen by her parents at the late hour of 1 AM coming home). We were at the doorway and she was acting all shy and timid with her hands crossed. I leap in for the hug and she hugs me real hard and bites my shoulder then pushes me away. She tells me that she has to "act like a lady on the first date" and that she can't guarantee she'll be ladylike next time I see her. I definitely felt a sense of attraction from both sides. She then drops the bombs: "I like you alot" and "You're very attractive." She brings up the suggestion of us seeing a movie the next day and I agree to it. Now, being the slightly suspicious "information is power" individual I am, I decided to dig up as much stuff as I could about her. From what I was able to gather, she has 2 Skype accounts. One of them has her real name and the other one has her online name. She uses the account without her real name for me all those times. I was able to gather this info through some smart googling. She has 2 Facebook accounts. Both of which are used for some reason based on her photo updates. The first Facebook account had a recent posting saying "I can't wait until my husband comes back from deployment!" dated November 30 2011. Very fishy... The second Facebook account had a play on words with her name and didn't seem to contain anything out of the ordinary. I would venture out and guess that the first Facebook account uses her Fiancee/Husband/Whatever surname whilst the second one does not. Also, her first Facebook account mentions that she went to York University (no program listed) and NOT George Brown college for culinary arts as she mentioned during the date.
