have to get a non-restricted firearms licence.... then go through more background checks and another safety course to get the restricted firearms licence
none for me, multiple brands through it with no problems... just dont like to use wax coated bullets, gums up too much for meTrotskygrad wrote:

That's what I was referring to when I said that guns seem to shift around more in rigid cases. I've never owned a "cut out" case.Reciprocity wrote:

I got one of those M&P15-22's -- it's awesome. Since I have no desire to do anything other thank plink, being able to swap up to 5.56 isn't really a big deal for me (I actually had a rifle in that caliber and sold it to get this one.)KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
that S&W M&P15-22 looks nice, I may have to get that instead and then upgrade later. I really like that M&P15 sport though haha. Your point about ammo costs is not falling on deaf ears here.
I cut the foam in mine, but the first case I had was egg-crate, but it also had straps in a few strategic places that made it "fits all sizes" without being a cutout.west-phoenix-az wrote:

I am relatively new to the gun scene so if someone could please explain to me how this works.chuyskywalker wrote:

Change the receiver and barrel.eusgen wrote:

How do you swap up to 5.56?

A regular AR-15, you buy a subcaliber adapter kit to convert from 5.56x45 (.223) to .22LR.eusgen wrote:

isn't that costly? or did the gun come with swappable barrel and receiver?
My friend is trying to get me to buy a glock and get a .22lr conversion kit.
I rarely hear good things about .22 conversion kits for centre-fire autos.eusgen wrote:
