Well unless you're running a resolution higher than 1080p or are cranking up everything to max, you can get by with mid-level cards for the most part perfectly fine. Only a few games manage to really tax all the graphics settings. But then a mid-level card is also done after 3 years on average, anyway.

For racing games yes and I was occasionally playing bf3 on them. Playing helicopter/jet was awesome.

The bezels aren't too bad when you sort out the correction, and playing at night in a dark room helps as you don't see the bezels.

Strap a piece of white paper in front of the flash to get a makeshift diffuser for soft light, and reduced hard shadows, while still illuminating the object.
