Yeah I'm also pretty minimalist with my shoes. My sisters own at least three pairs of every type of shoe ever.

I have:

- everyday Vans shoes which I've had for two years and usually replace every 2-3 years.
- work shoes for my fancy job
- work boots for rough jobs
- church shoes
- sport shoes
- sandals
- slippers

I keep all of those until they fall apart.

And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.

Nah, I just don't like those leather shoes.
I wouldn't wear such to any other occasions than weddings or funerals, so I thought I rather buy sneakers that I can wear casually elsewhere.

Its a pair of dress shoes you have, but you never do anything that requires you to dress up, so you only wear them in church. Aka, your sunday best.

I dont really think god would care if you wore polished shoes or not though. Never saw any imagery of him in sweet kicks.
