It's helped me be myself a lot more around girls I find attractive too. That being said I was "friend zoned" once and I was too naive and young to just get over it. She was into the bad-guy type but after a few years of realizing that these guys will max out at about 20k a year and the rest of us grew up she figured out that wasn't a smart idea. As someone who made a proportionate amount of money to my age she found me 'good looking'.
