they seem to have either named this wrong or showed the improper map when deciding to call it 'north american service ribbon'.

correct me if i'm wrong but north america consists of the U.S.A and Canada, as well as mexico? So why is the ribbon only respecting the continental U.S.A and Alaska in image?

edit : sidebar[i've grown up in dayton ohio and have seen the air forces thunderbirds almost everyyear as well as the navy's blue angels most years...but the one that stolen the air show everytime for me is the Canadian snowbirds...gotta hand it to them canucks]

the only maps located in north america for armored fury will be in the US.

The Middle Eastern service ribbon consists of the Scimitar, or Crescent. It is an image linked with Islam, the main religon of the middle east.

I don't think a cross for North America would be fitting for this if you know what I mean.

They should have gone with one like the Far East ribbon, with a star in red representing China's flag. A Good ol' star-spangled banner would do just fine. This new ribbon is t3h ugl3h.

Maybe they thought that mexicans & canadians would get pissed even hinting at calling them americans as well, I don't know, does it really matter or should they make another booster invading canada & mexico.

They should have called it the United States Service Ribbon or the American Service Ribbon. The ribbon should have just had a gold or silver eagle on it, with a blue and red background maybe... oh well.
