I forgot what it was like to play a game till 5 in the morning, MMOs are like crack when they're good
It's already starting to lose it's edge though, as other people have pointed out, it's hard to feel like you matter in this game due to it being an MMO, all the stuff you do is just shit that everybody else has done that doesn't really make an impact on the world at all because it has to stay the same. It sucks cuz it could just as well have been a very successful KotOR 3 instead of a failed KotOR MMO, which is evident by the fact that they have to become Free to Play just to hopefully gain enough eventual subscriber-ship to stay afloat since they don't have enough content to keep people interested long enough to keep paying a monthly subscription.

I wouldn't say it has completely sunk, it's just not likeable as an MMO, at least not right now. Maybe as they add more features and other things in as time goes on, it'll start to make sense but as of right now it just kind of feels like a "me too" of an MMO. I still can't help but feel like EA hijacked a KotOR 3 in progress and forced them to make it into an MMO so they could have a constant cash flow from it, now look where it went. They would've been better off if it actually had been a KotOR 3 and then they could load it up with DLC like they do with everything else BioWare makes for them.

I haven't even played the 2nd one yet so I wouldn't know what to expect
TOR went F2P before SWG... solid.
So far in the early levels, Jedi and Smuggler are good fun. Not sure how it plays as MMO, because I haven't played in a party as I just have a trial account. Kinda hard to join a party when the game won't let you chat ingame unless you've subscribed.
I wonder how many restrictions will be lifted when it officially becomes F2P. I just hit level 15 an hour ago and I'm doing pretty well where I am but still not looking forward to finding the XP ceiling. Hopefully they change over to F2P soon but it looks like September at least
F2P just went to level 50, apparently. I enjoyed playing this in the betas, might start up again. Of course I have about a dozen games that I have bought just waiting to be played right now too, and if not for my kids, my PS3 would be collecting dust right now.
Don't bother, the level cap may have been raised but you have to be a paying member to do just about everything now, it's pathetic
