With aforementioned axe-wielding gentleman, as soon as he attempted to hack at me and I emptied one magazine into him, my first instinct was to run upstairs. That's horror movie fuck-up #1, placing just before "taking a shower after casual sex". That's also the reason he managed to get that lucky shot to break my leg too.
I always liked to think I would be one of the survivors in a horror movie. Guess not.

Defcon Servers (Ex-)Employee Makes Shocking, ‘Borderline’ Criminal Threat Against Day Z Gamer

A former Defcon Servers employee made threats against a disgruntled Day Z customer that "borderline on criminal," admitted Rich Scott, a representative of the company.
In an email, captured in the screenshot above, the former employee threatened to post the "home address and personal details" of the customer, who goes by the handle SinisterPrime on Reddit, "all over the internet."
"Watch who you f--- with. I will make it so every criminal in your state has your address," wrote the representative.
The threat is apparently in retaliation for SinisterPrime complaining about Defcon Servers' customer service on Reddit; in the past, customer complaints against gaming-related companies on the social news website have often resulted in fierce publish backlash.
In this case, SinisterPrime ordered a server from Defcon Servers that he later realized he could not use yet. When he asked for a refund, Defcon Servers refused and the hostilities escalated, culminating in the email seen above.
Scott, posting on a Day Z forum, said the representative was a "disgruntled" employee who has been terminated.
Moreover, he claims Defcon Servers is considering pressing charges against the individual.
The company has also refunded SinisterPrime's money. However, some people in the gaming community remain unforgiving and took the opportunity to voice their own complaints against Defcon Servers' allegedly poor customer service.
"You have a lot of work ahead of you to build back your reputation. You need to go back to startup mode and invest your blood and sweat back into this company to make it tolerable again," wrote StanTheRebel on Day Z in a post directed towards Scott.
Scott, however, said negative customer service experiences get much more attention than positive ones.
"We are not in business to rip anyone off...Otherwise we simply wouldn't be in business this long," he said.
Defcon Servers' fiasco recalls the debacle of former N-Control PR representative Paul Christoforo.
In a dispute with a customer over the shipment of an N-Control controllers, Christoforo resorted to using abusive and profane language, including his infamous phrase, "Son Im 38 I wwebsite as on the internet when you were a sperm in your daddys b---s and before it was the internet."
Christoforo was promptly fired by N-Control.

I love this game, but i haven't been able to join a server for several days. First it wouldnt connect to host, then i would get kicked from every server, now i have a bad version even though its up to date. I'm going to take a break from day z and come back when they work out their servers
it gets more and more broken with each patch
patch 1.7.2.4 is coming out in the next few days. Don't play it. Don't even touch it until it's confirmed completely stable.
the last patch deleted the inventory of people wearing ghillie suits, teleported others around, killed them, deleted their shit too
other patches have done similar shit
