I was kinda expecting the " WOAH WOAH NEW BIGGEST MAP EVAAH WOAH WOAH" to be a big fat flat nothing, *fucking consoles* , but I must say altho I know EA always only show the sweetspots in their trailers , I'm a little bit curious for the snow-mountain-map .Spidery_Yoda wrote:
“In Conquest Large, Bandar Desert is stretching as far as 1,900 meters from U.S. to Russian deployment, not counting the airstrip at the very end of the ground forces combat area. This is even longer than Fushe Pass from Battlefield 2."
It's a comparison that really doesn't favour the new map. Fushe Pass was massive, and filled with canyons, hills, twists, turns, forest and built up areas, whereas in the trailer, the new map is a big flat desert. Well done DICE for making a big flat map with nothing in it.
I know the map does have built up areas as well, but not in the trailer, and comparing it to Fushe Pass is pretty stupid. Compare it to Highway Tampa if anything.

I've had this game drop out on me so many times the past few days it's almost not worth playing.
EA are fucking terrible sometimes.

Everyone is crying over the M16 being the "OP" gun now. People will find anything to whine about, first it was the F2000 then the AEK now it's the M16 lol. If anyone should whine about an OP gun they should be crying over the PKP especially after it's minimum and maximum damage was buffed from the last patch at the expense of slightly more initial recoil. Put extended mags, reddot and foregrip on that shit and it's a killing machine burst firing.

Actually it's 9957 Kills now. It's OP, i think it's not used as much because people can't figure out how to control the recoil. It's not that hard, just burst fire in short, quick, controlled bursts constantly and spray if the enemy is point blank in front of you.pirana6 wrote:

Reinstalled from the disk the other day and it spent two hours dling it
There's been a couple gigantic patches which included the DLC content so that would've downloaded on top of whatever is on the DVD.
Some info on Aftermath
Hopefully 'urban' means more open maps like Karkand, Sharqi or Mashtuur and not narrow streets and alleys like Seine.

Based on the combat in those areas in the campaign, I'm not holding my breath for Karkand, Sharqi, and Mashtuur map design.
