As for 3D, I don't have the equipment, so it's set equal to normal view.
non - 3D resolution is the resolution of the 3D models - not 3D like polarised vision.

Make sure the 3D models and the screen resolution are the same, toherwise the game looks blurry

but if its higher i think the game looks better. im not sure though thats why im asking

So, I get into a night server where the zombies don't attack. I get in there face and they just turn around. I just then proceed to find loot and leave the server.

But for the next three hours, either I get into servers with no loot to be found, or get placed in "no man's land" or can't move. Aaaarrrgghhhhh!!!!.

Should I be playing only on non-Beta OA servers? For OA beta, do I just install the latest version? Anyone have liks to properly setup the beta expansion version?

And HD pack? Links please. Although it looks like hi-rez the way I'm playing now.

Always use the up to date arma 2 beta, and don't use six updater for the love of god. Just download the files seperatly, it's not hard.

Haven't had any problems with six updater. Also, found three helo crashes within about a 1/2 km of each other. Got an FN FAL with a night vision scope and 4 mags and my buddy has an AS-50 with 3 mags. Fucking hacker just teleported EVERYONE (~70 people) on the server I was on to the NWA... I got tele'd back to my original position but my buddy didn't. We both managed to quit out before anyone died though.

Just spent 4 hours (only felt like half that) starting over, and managed to get pretty much all of the survival essentials: matches, compass, hatchet, knife, canteen, lots of bandages, Coke, meat from a chicken (my first successful hatchet kill, lol...followed by about 6 zeds). I decided to hit up one last buidling west of Zelenogorsk before going to eat dinner, and found a CZ 550 and Makarov. Sweet mother liberty.

I crept about 200m away from the buildings and turned back to check out the sight/feel of the rifle and see how zeroing works, and as I zoomed in on the wide open doors of the building I had just left minutes before, what do I see but some poor bastard crawling in. He didn't appear to be armed, so I let him go and quit. As I ate I started wondering what gear he might have had (a watch? a pistol I didn't see?), and regretted not capping him.

Found a cool DMR in a deerstand recently, though. Now I can effectively cover my friends as we do med-runs in Cherno.

Was searching the northeast airfield for loots when I heard someone crawling outside the hangar. dude pops around the corner and was introduced to my FAL. Found the bad ass coyote pack then headed into the woods northeast of the airfield. Found a lone tent with GPS, NVG's and a DMR with 15 mags.

That's only the textures for the player model. Because DayZ uses DLC skins, you only get a low-res version of them if you don't have the DLC.

unfortunately it's 20 euros for both the DLCs you need
