That was a fucking mental few hours with Noobest, DU, Frank, and Lucien. Went from the campsite to the NWA, down the west, I got shot but survived, then Frank killed the guy that got me.
In to Cherno, noobest and DU with ghillie suits and .50 cal rifles providing overwatch, me, frank and lucien hit the apartments, I get shot at, knocked out, broken leg, sorted out, then move to the church, where we see two guys with a train behind them.
The two guys take out me and Frank, we manage to spawn and run back to our bodies, get ALL our shit back, then as we're heading out of cherno I nail a guy in one of the red houses.
Mad, mad night.

Finally got this shit installed, but I'm having a hell of a time trying to play. Do you always start without a gun or is that just my misfortune? Everytime i attempt to arm myself by scavenging, I get ass raped by a train of zombies who i can't even slap in the face with my finely-manicured hands
When you aggro zombies you have to sprint away, they won't be able to catch up to you. Try to be quiet when you loot and you should be able to avoid aggro. You always spawn without a gun, but hatchets are everywhere as well as a few low end guns.
I managed to find myself a lee enfield and a few basic supplies and have been sneaking my way into one of the cities. It's intense when you aggro a group of zombies in this game, very entertaining so far
Good to hear. It becomes more fun once you start to accumulate some gear. The flipside is that it's incredibly frustrating to die the first time you actually have good stuff to lose. Just accept that it's how the game is, and is part of its "charm"...

Finallly got time to download, patch, and play for the first time last night. Spawned on a night server. Ran everywhere. No zombies. Couldn't find any loot anywhere after searching half a dozen warehouses. Found a dead body on top of the lighthouse, but no loot.. Heard church bells, but stayed away since I didn't even have a gun. After moon crossed the horizon, couldn't see shit. Went to bed after everything went dark. Will try again tonight.
I've got this mod running at 1080P max setings everything, even max view distance, with my 670. Looks sweet. Anyone know how to triple screen this?
max view distance is capped on most servers btw. 1500 max or something
did you try setting your 3d resolution higher than your normal res? what does that even do

As for 3D, I don't have the equipment, so it's set equal to normal view.

Nevermind, was murdered while bleeding to death in a small hut. Actually, it was probably my fault, for all I knew they were there to help. I just freaked out and shot one to death cause I wasn't sure if they were there to kill me or not lol

i had a broken leg and 6000 blood. I had crawled into the building for cover to bandage and they startled me while I was in the menu

Ok, this game is intense. Second playthrough, made my way to the southern airfield and picked up an akm with 5 mags. Make my way to the tower just as dusk falls and get ass raped by a group of zombies while i try to get in. So here I am, bleeding out with a broken leg basically dying on the floor when another player runs through the door. We have a little bit of an intense standoff pointing our guns at each other when I lower mine, deciding "fuck it, Im dead already he can have my stuff." Suprisingly, he lowers his too and stares at me. So i get up and fall back down to show him my condition. Even more surprisingly, he then bandages me and heals my broken limb. We then proceed to defend the tower in the errie green glow of my chemlights from a horde of zombies for about five minutes when another player stumbles in, badly wounded. My new buddy heals this guy up too and we merrily defend the tower until i disconnect from poor connection.

Make sure the 3D models and the screen resolution are the same, toherwise the game looks blurry

You cant kill zombies with an akm; the zombie spawn restriction area around the player is way smaller than the range at which zombies hear the gun. Thus you will have infinite waves of freshly spawned zombies coming at you if you try to kill them with just about any non-SD primarty weapon.Eagle wrote:
