Do you have the damage/ammo rack indicator overlay on, on your HUD?

I'm pretty sure the ammo rack icon is set on default.

Ammo rack kills don't happen enough for me and I know where to aim on most tanks. The two recent ones I remember is ammoracking an IS-3 with my AMX 50 100 and when I got another with my M18 against a Type 59 at full health. Not surprised with the Type 59 kill, but if I didn't 1 hit kill him, my team definitely would have lost that match.

Man, this game crashes on me alot now, really starting to piss me off.

So I was using my new BT-2 to out maneuver some guy in a slower tanks and we were kind of weaving in between rocks when I got ammo racked by his buddy. I somehow survived it and managed to duck behind a boulder. I then got sniped by a Pzlll.

I mainly get pissed when it is Assault, Encounter and Standard being mixed together isn't as bad though.

The problem is if you let players choose what type of game mode they want, it's splitting the NA playerbase 3 ways. Also, with the small size of the NA server, that's not good.

Anyone who picks the new game modes will have a longer wait time and matches probably won't be 15 vs 15 since a lot of players don't like the new game modes. Most players would choose the standard battle and no one would bother with the new game modes, so that means it was a waste of time for the devs to create them in the first place.

I didn't like them initially on the test server but now they've actually grown on me a little bit, it's nice to have another option other than standard battle, it makes things interesting. The thing is a lot of retards still don't recognize what you're supposed to do in the game-mode and don't have a brain for it. But the concept is very good, I was on the defending team on Siegfried Line yesterday, and although we lost badly, it was still fun and had the potential to be much more fun.

Plus they actually removed two of the meatgrinder maps: Swamp(the one with a mud forest in the middle surrounded by mountains) and Komarin(the one with the island in the middle that you have to break through tank traps to get onto) so that's statistically less guaranteed shitty games you'll be put in, now it's all about re-adapting to the rest of the maps for the new gametypes

On another note, the tier III French TD sucks, it's really fast and tiny and hard to hit but it only has 25 more HP than the previous FT-AC, and I can only aim the piddly 47mm gun around 25 degrees left or right.

I do like what they did with the all the sounds though with the compression and frequency optimization, I think the game does load a little bit faster and the guns sound more punchy and powerful

French trend, past tier IV is where it gets good. Arty may be the exception, but I still rather grind in amx12t to get the tier 5 arty than to go all the way starting from the BS(greatest name ever) and down below.

Yes. They toyed with the idea of trading tanks and credits, but it doesnt fit with how the game was designed.

Doesn't fit cuz they wouldn't make money off prems and gold if people could trade and/or auction their own stuff.

Finally finished with that awful UE 57, the 2nd gun made it much more bearable but the gun traverse in every direction but up was just unacceptable. Haven't won a game with my Somua yet but I only played 3 rounds before going to bed, the first gun's accuracy and penetration is shit but I expected as much from it being the TD equivalent to the AMX 40's 75 with slightly less penetration. It feels surprisingly nimble for its size, it has reasonable acceleration with the stock engine and turns very well with the stock suspension, I feel like it has a lot of potential.

Also, it has been brought to my attention that Enhanced Torsion Bars/Springs/Levers actually serve a double purpose of giving you a 30% increase to your suspension hitpoints, making it harder to track your tank. This is mentioned only as "enhanced durability" in the in-game description. I didn't believe it at first when I heard it in the general chat but sure enough the wiki confirms it:

I think it's only when it's one person that kills the entire team but there might be another one for that too
