He shouldn't be allowed back in this country. I read something along those lines as well but apparently the burden is on the gov't to prove that he renounced for the purposes of avoiding taxes. The new law would apparently reverse that. I don't see how they can come to a different conclusion.
Well he did publicly come out and say his renunciation was for taxation purposes and most of facebook's business is in the USA not Singapore so... And he's not exactly renouncing to become a citizen of another country.Spearhead wrote:

From what I understand, a lot of our military re-ups while overseas, so that they get their re-up bonus tax free. Since they were not in the United States when they made that income, they don't have to pay income tax on it...
