When i join a game and press ESC or Join game, it just loads the desktop and closes bf2. Any ideas why? I will try and give the person who gives me the correct answer +1.

help i also can't join the game when i press Join game it will jump to the desktop ...... help

I've done all that Still doesn't work :@
Was it full patch you installed? If so have you run BF2 in windows mode? ( If you need2 know how to run BF2 in windows mode, let me know. ) If you do run BF2 in windows mode. When you crash to desktop, it will give you error message, post up so I can have a look at it.Blindbasher wrote:

1.3 is very unstable, when i am playing the game always jump out from the game.....but 1.22 has not happen...
I've fixed it. I put my sound to hardware then quality to medium, then i joined karkand. Then i changed it back to software and low, and it works fine now. Not sure about other maps though.
