Shatner, the US's early intervention in WW2 through the Lend Lease act had a huge helping effect for the Russians. They pretty much turned the tide at Stalingrad which was around the end of 1941. Russia had gotten thousands of tons of US military aid by then. So I would say the U.S. helped greatly contribute. I don't think the Germans stood a chance once the supplies started rolling in.
What would have happened on the Western end of the conflict and in Africa without the U.S.? Maybe Hitler would have eventually lost but it would have been much much later.

the "huge helping effect" of lend lease, shifty, amounted for about 5% of what ussr produced and used in the war themselves. some of that stuff was crucial and came at critical moments, yes, particularly the non-ferrous metals and alloys which require a lot of energy to produce, but 5% is still, you know, not much.

The US's Lend Lease wasn't a big hit in Russia. Stalin had factories everywhere producing tanks, guns, vehicles, aircraft, artillery. The US's contribution was a a mere blip compared to what Russia was producing. The Russians threw manpower at the problem... That probably helped more than anything... BUT they were under-producing "tanks, guns, vehicles, aircraft, artillery" on and incredible level. As in:
"Hey, every third soldier gets a gun... The rest of you go out and soak up some bullets... Remember, every bullet that hits you, did not hit me, or other important people in your country."
