shooting them down with a spinfusor is pretty hard.
but the point stays the same dauntless, you really can't vehicle whore in this game like you can a heli or tank in a bf game.

plus you need to get about 7k points before you can get one so you always need to do some infantry
so anyone screenshots? here's an easy rinse using defensive solly build: defending, chasing, and pretty much shutting down midfield
and managing to make something out of random teamwork using pathfinder

When it comes to vehicles, I really don't like is that the tank is the best choice to go for overall. With the shrike being difficult to control and being the most expensive, it can easily get shot down by a tank that is cheaper. It'd be nice if they just made the shrike easier to control and less likely to constantly crash in order to properly kill people, it wouldn't be overpowered, tanks essentially counter shrikes.
Vehicles do add the fun to the game, especially if the whole team are actually communicating and working together. Imagine flag carriers actually getting on the passenger seat of your hover cycle and you taking him to your capture area or just driving around avoiding the enemy until your team's flag is returned. Vehicles have so much potential in this game in a coordinated match.

It would be overpowered. Vehicles are NOT the main focus of this game. Shrikes are already insanely good v inf, if you made them easier to control they'd be too good. I think they need a bit of a nerf, actually. In fact, both the tank and the shrike needs nerfing. I hate it when a tank sits at the other side of the map and launches shells at the flag from complete safety. Should have a limited range on the cannon before it blows up in the air. The bike is pretty balanced.

i've seen it used quite a few times. the shrike is deadly useful in the right hands. one shrike pilot in a pub can shut down an entire team's capping - trust me, i've seen it happen many times, and have been on the receiving end of it. it's frustrating when nobody steps up to take the class/weps to bring it down. the tank on the other hand is pretty easy to take down by anyone with any wep - it's slow and a big target. also the tanks main shell isn't that easy to fire, really, especially if you were aiming for a shrike. i'd say it's a lot more difficult than a tank shooting down a low-hovering heli or low-passing jet in bf2/bf3. it has a weird timer delay and a slower bullet trajectory.

also from what i remember, the turret doesn't go up very high so if a shrike is above a tank there's not much it can do
and there are no roads where are you going to drive the cars ur gonna bottom out on the grass and i played on a beach level and ud get stuck in the sand and its not gonna get out
