look kiddo, I listed that in the 'what are you listening to right now' thread. as in, that what i was listening to right then. got it? (re-read it if you don't before I move on...)
nowhere did i say about that song it was "probably one of the best opening rhymes on any hip-hop album, period" or any song for that matter. Why? because it would be impossible to listen to every hip-hop album and decide you'd found the best one. You'd have to listen to an album once every ten minutes to hear them all (yes this is an exact measurement thankyouverymuch).

Or simply, you'd have to be a pretentious, know-it-all, prick.

oh wow so you are criticising the song by taking my compliment of an incredibly esoteric and difficult rhyme literally.

i wouldn't go around calling people "kiddo" when you have yet to move past the reading ability of a just-literate 7 year old.

i've listened to a lot of hiphop, and not many albums open with the ambit of rhyming something to an icelandic volcano. that's pretty up there.
