i know a lot of people with prior medical conditions who were able to squeeze through the craks and enlist. only difference is they didnt have it in their medical history. your weak lung has been documented. sickly children dont end up in the military

Shifty, you'll probably be ok, but you should take this as a warning. If you really want to be a Marine then you should seriously tend to your body and hone yourself. Being a twig in a battle zone will not serve you well. Consume only the purest and most nutrient rich foods and become one with the cosmos. Take up parkour and meditation and become batman.

I'm not a sickly child and MEPS doesn't do a full medical background on the thousands of people that try to join. That's why the MEPS examinatjon is so extensive.

The only thing "wrong" with me is that I see 20/40 and that I'm a little underweight. That's hardly an issue. I'm not going to be 0311 anyway, genius and if I am I know guys smaller and lighter than me that are 0311s.
The popped lung will be good as new because now that blub is gone and in three weeks it should be completely healed. My doc says there's nothing I can't do anymore.

Condition? I'm the one who's doctor just performed a successful open heart surgery. What shit do you know about my condition? When he tells me I can go climb Mount-fucking-Everest in a month if I want to then I'm pretty sure he knows his shit. Open - heart - surgery. He knows his shit. No you idiot, some other dude I'm saying this guy did open heart yesterday and obviously knows what he's talking about when he says I'll be perfectly normal.

@1927, my lung collapsed because a "bubble" or something that was on top popped. So now it's healing and the thing that caused the pop is gone so it should theoretically not happen again. 11B is saying I can't join when my recruiter just said it should be fine.
