I definitely notice about the added suppression. I never used to get the suppression ribbon, now I'm getting them constantly for shooting in the general direction of someone.

yeah that is kinda gay. I had gotten up to 47 of them before the patch. It make sense if you are trying to apply suppression. Now is like the avenger ribbon now, makes no sense.heggs wrote:

I actually used suppressive fire quite a bit before the patch, just as a matter of common sense/tactics/lack of skill/what have you, but it was still pretty rare for me to use it enough to get a ribbon, let alone multiple ribbons. TBH, I thought it achieved it's purpose then, and needed no tweaking. It was still a mechanic that hurt skilled players more than noobs, but it wasn't overpowering or something that ruined the feel of the game. 20 noobs on an enemy team with LMGs, infinite ammo and 5% lifetime accuracy equals nothing but a bad gaming experience at this point. Yeah, you can still "adapt" to the stupid mechanic and get kills, but it just feels like it sucked competitiveness even moreso from this game.

not only does it blur your vision and unsteady your aim but the bullet doesn't even go where you're trying to aim. it's redundant and fucking annoying. cocksucking dice motherfuckers.

They started to cherry pick which aspects to simulate "realism" with, while others are still completely ridiculous, and even more features that SHOULD be in the game still are not.
I hate that I've started to sound like every other whiner on the forums, but it doesn't matter how many things you fix if you simultaneously make glaring fuckups of this magnitude.
Had a round where I was 50/10 on karkand in the tank, and I didn't even enjoy it. Anything on the ground just feels off now...at least the chopper is sort of fun again.
Try sniping while suppressed. It's impossible.

The Machine guns were OP pre patch, now they buffed all of them including the PKP, now it's super OP. Throw in the buffed suppression + squad suppression perk and these are death machines. and I get results like this every round. Whereas I might of had a 7-10 K/D round every 3 rounds or so pre-patch.AussieReaper wrote:
