I think it depends on the style someone has.
Sidecuts on any type of hair (long, short, straight) don't look good if you have an elegant style (heels, dresses, fancy stuff).
People who wear jeans, sneakers, jackets, hoodies, more casual stuff can pull it off
I basically live in Superstars & jeans so ...
But people have different tastes so it's normal that some like it and some not.
