Sooo back to the original question....
Very Interesting. I work for a German company and go there at least once a year for international sales meetings.
Not so sure about the health insurance, as I'm on the payroll of an American branch, but the beer is absolutely excellent.

Health care will be fine, don't worry.
Your boss will cover for you and you pay a small percentage, don't know the figures but let it be less than 100 euros per month.
It's one of the best countries to live these days in Europe.

If it's anything like here in Austria, both you and your employer need to pay part of the health insurance and public pension scheme, together with all the taxes each month.Vilham wrote:

Normally, if you're employed by them and not freelance, your employer's accounting department should handle everything, and you'll end up with your net income on your bank account, with everything else already deducted and paid.
They probably are the ones that can help you best, because I believe that the federal states (Hesse in case of Frankfurt) have much more different laws than Austria, AFAIK.
I suggest you ask ze Germans on here. Sisco and Eifa come to my head.
eifa isn't german?

Who's eifa?
You should be able to get help from your employer, are you going to leave near the office?
Get a German girlfriend and she'll show you all you need to know.

Avoid the white sausage.
I've only been to Germany a few times, but my uncle lived there for several years. I don't really understand what kind of advice you want. All I can tell you is that the people are very friendly, or at least in the areas I've been. The country is absolutely beautiful.
Could you be more specific about what kind of advice you want?
Chou I love you, you always make posts that make me laugh. Loved that .gif

Health insurance is super easy. Your employer does it for you. You just say where you want to be insured and they'll do the paperwork. The money gets deducted automatically from your wage and is payed by the employer.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
