its funny, you can have a skill of 600's and later the same day have a skill of 200's.

It's a messed up version of the Elo system competitive chess uses. When you kill a guy, you gain skill proportional to the difference in your skills. And when you get killed, you lose points proportional to the difference in skill of the guy who killed you. So you gain much more skill from killing skilled enemies, and you lose much more skill when you get killed by skilled enemies.FatherTed wrote:

It fluctuates greatly because a single round usually has somewhere between 10 and 30 kills and/or deaths for a player, and it only increases with kills, other important team actions don't factor in. So it doesn't really mean anything about how good a playa your are.

It's like skeet shooting but the pigeons usually don't break when you hit them. Still the best tank unlock vrs. aircraft, except the guided shell if you have CITV.FatherTed wrote:

It's really good against the small cars though.
Shooting a healthy plane down that's swooping down too low is pretty awsm...same with headshotting recon players peeking over the top of buildings that are halfway across the map.

I love the shotguns in this game, particularly the 1014 and 870. The USAS is E-Z mode but it's fun to use every now and then. 870 is my most used shotgun though, and 4th most used weapon, after the M26 DART.Blade4509 wrote:

yup, reload time is a bit harsh, but you can take out a lot before you need to reload.
