^^I want that almost as equally as much as the XR6T. I'm just a little biased towards turbochargers and the inline 6 cylinder engine design, that's all. Also Ford didn't take bullshit bailout money and help fuck the country worse. +1 for that.

If you're a fan of Turbochargers and Inline 6 then check out the FPV F6. Same inline Six as the XR6 but with a more beasty turbo putting out 310kw instead of 270kw in the XR6 Turbo.PigPopTart wrote:

is this on a 4.6L? Just install an updated Dorman intake assembly. I've replaced a couple dozen of em on police cars over the years._j5689_ wrote:
Gotta replace my intake manifold when it gets here
The plastic coolant nipple broke off when I was installing new hoses so I tapped threads into what was left and installed a metal one, but now the coolant leaks from the threads
Also installed a new thermostat cuz I thought mine was bad(turns out I just had low coolant) and all of a sudden the front of the manifold started leaking really badly, took it for a drive around the block after filling up the coolant reservoir to make sure I didn't have any leaks after installing both parts and I had 1/5 of that left by the time I parked, and most of that fluid is now just sitting in my engine valley under the intake
The intake is just plain-out fucked
It is indeed the 4.6 on my Crown Vic. You should've spent the extra money to get a real Ford one, they say the Dorman ones hurt performance, especially on a model that already had a Performance Improved intake manifold(1999+ Explorers and Mustangs, 2001+ Crown Victorias/GMQs/Town Cars) because they're really just a slightly revised version of the Non-Performance Improved design. People on the forums actually notice it hurting the performance vs the old one.Reciprocity wrote:

That doesn't look that urgent, I had an alignment problem that wore down my front-left tire's inner sidewall so badly you could see the kevlar weaving or whatever it is on the inside of the tire, and the tire was still going for another two months after we found out that happened, although it was leaking pretty badly and I had to keep refilling it frequently until it eventually just popped while I was driving. On yours though, I think you could go another few weeks like that if you needed to as long as it's not leaking, that doesn't look that deep at all
