I'm not surprised he noticed 1:40 with the 2d sprites of the Salarians (?) running. I saw that the first playthrough and wtf'd.
Especially after the technology Epic were showing years for UE3 that they used in Gears of War 2 where you could have hundreds of background characters onscreen at once.
It's revolutionary in the way it tells the story. The voice acting can be a little bad sometimes but I'd say it's better than most "bad" TV shows or sci-fi B-movies. Which is saying a lot, for a video game.Miggle wrote:
guys the mass effect story is really weak and people who think it is some sort of revolution in literature scare me.

Early Copies of Mass Effect 3 Launched into Space
Weather balloons carrying early copies of the game are set to launch from New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Berlin, London and Paris. The games will be equipped with a GPS tracking device, allowing fans to track their progress. When the balloons land, anyone who finds one will be able to snag a copy of Mass Effect 3 a week or more ahead of its release.

I thought they go into space? As a warning for the aliens.
You can fight like a Krogan,
run like a leopard,
but you´ll never be better than Commander Shepard!

too slow
Played the multiplayer part quite fun!
I played the multiplayer for a bit. To sum it up, it's pretty much Call of Duty 9: Mass Effect 3.
"Overlord:" *Wave x ends* Good shooting out there. Time to reload.

You guys made it out like it was going to be like the multiplayer of Dead Space 2 i.e immensely shit. It's not amazing by any means but it's pretty fun with a decent team.

I really liked the MP so far. I imagine it'll be more interesting once the rest of the maps, modes, etc, are available.
Of course, that's after I spent 60 hours playing the SP

Played MP for a few hours yesterday. Pretty fun if you can get a decent group going and you can fly through leveling characters too.
Played the MP a bit. Krogan soldier's melee is OP as shit.

Day 1 pirate.
Played the demo although I didn't really get to play the 2nd part since I had class, and when I tried to go back I would've had to play the 1st part all over again and I was like fuck that.
Wasn't THAT impressed with it tbh

Contray to popular belief, Hepler didn't work on Mass Effect, just DA and KOTOR.
Thank god.
Oh well,

I can't believe the news about the day 1 DLC.
It costs an extra 10 USD (or free with the collectors edition/digital deluxe edition which costs 20 pounds more in the UK), and gives you a god damn Spoiler (highlight to read):
Prothean squadmate and a mission or two.
That is like the most important thing in the entire Mass Effect universe to have ever happened (aside from the Reapers), and you have to pay extra. They can get stuffed.

The Bioware devs also tried to justify it. Here's a justification for them: Just make the DLC free...
