Then, couple days after I passed my test, my dad came into my room all 'hey, we're thinking about buying you a car'. Two weeks later, £650 '99 Corsa B in the driveway on their insurance (I had to pay for that, thankfully).

I went for mine as soon as i turned 18, well knowing that i would t own a car in years.
Then again, i do get to drive one of my parents cars every now and then. Although that is mostly for errands...
