14/hr does suck though, especially for California. I suggest moving away from a place with so much cheap labor (illegals).

My best friend couldn't find any work with an English degree and spent years waiting tables or working in sales for his uncle until he met a girl and she convinced him to go to law school. Most of the rest went into teaching.
