Had no idea there was a beta either, I wasn't expecting much for this game I guess but one game can only be so bad, especially if it's going to be the Star Wars MMO. As things go, this looks like at least an O.K. game

Yup that's the one im on. Try sending me a mail. Maybe its a bug that you can't add people unless you've run into them in person, you know like all player info is stored client side.

tHE mmo aspect is starting to bug me. I hate having to kill 50 guys to get into a cave then doing the mission in said cave then having to kill the same 50 guys on the way out

Yea I still play. On Hoth now, lvl 40. Im just really busy with my career and other RL things.
I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet, but it looks like they're adding a few features such as making it easier to find and play with friends as well as allowing character transfers to different servers, and also a new item customization system in an effort to try to get some people to come back:

The way people describe it, I can't help but feel like EA just made Bioware take whatever they had already done with KotOR 3 and turn it into an MMO for people who actually did just want to keep playing the same simple game, or for people who just needed something to switch their Star Wars MMO addiction over to once Galaxies went down.
