You should incase you are fine with a shitty warranty. Sounds like Alienware since Dell doesnt use AMD processors in their gaming rigs.
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ with HyperTransport Technology
Id personally get an x2 but granted some issues with dual core processors this is completely finePower Supply: 650 Watt ATX 2.0 Power Supply
600w is pretty unecessary for your set up, 500w would be fine.Motherboard: nForce 4 SLI Chipset Motherboard PCI Express
I am sure this is a default optionMemory: 1GB Dual Channel Low-Latency DDR PC-3200 at 400MHz - 2 x 512MB
You're building this pc for bf2, you better get another gig of ram I run 4gigsGraphics Processor: 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce 7600 GT
If your budget can afford it I would spring for a 7800gtx they should be signifigantly cheaper nowVideo Optimizer: Video Performance Optimizer

It may not seem important but even a low model sound blaster audigy 2 makes a world of difference in this game.First: will it ruyn on high video settings?
It will, but not good, especially with one gig of ram it needs more ram for texture memory, cards with 512mb of videoram do a lot better in this game than one with 256Second: Should I spend an extra 50$ in 2gb of ram, is it that important.
this is a question that answers itselfThird: Is sound that important, I can deal without it(or at least without good sound)
The sound in the game is completely different with onboard hardware, and using an aftermarket sound card. /b]
Fourth: who do you guys think it is? [b]Alienware its amd no doubt, thats a hefty coin man. I self built and came out about the same in the end but my case is 250 dollars
