I actually tried it way before the assignmens were out and its übershit. There is hardly any teamplay, because the spawns are so fucked that even coherent squads get torn apart every minute by someone popping up behind them.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

If you are unlucky to get into a squad with low ranking players who just dont know the game yet, you´re fucked from the start. And don´t get me started on the retarded IFV, throwing what little balance there was left right outta the window.
Anyway, i found a server where two kills would make a win, got the stupid requirement. I OCD´d and even got 10 wins to get the stupid dog tag.
Try playing with people you know in a party. It makes it a lot more fun in my opinion. As many people in this thread have said, the team play in this game leaves something to be desired
Team Deathmatch on Canals was fun in a plays-only-64p-Metro kind of way. There was a lot of strategy and skill in finding a good spot (i.e. anywhere) to camp spawns. I guess it doesn't work that way in squad DM?
Nah, SQDM spawn system is its greatest weakness. And I highly doubt there is a way to fix it with the boundaries coming from the game mode design. You can´t make the maps bigger to make sure you don´t get spawncamped or bumrushed cause it would dilute the pace. If you actually lock down an area with your squad chances are good you still lose the game, because you just dont get enough kills.
All the teamplay encouraging mechanics like reviving, dropping health, etc. are useless (reviving has some uses to keep the squad close together if squad spawn is diabled at least). Not only that, but the general twitchniness of the gameplay often punishes you for not having your weapon at the ready.

Have your weapon ready then, it's just a different game mode that requires you to adjust your play style to win. One squad has to win, and it will be the squad with the best killers.
There is no need to resupply or revive. Pick a team with Suppression, Cover, Flak, and ammo or explosives, 2 medics and then 2 AT, or throw a support in the mix. Get into kill mode and go.

I like that SDM discourages camping, but I hate the fact that it's still fucking death match and doesn't require you to think at all to win at it.

Anyone else have issues with stats being reversed? I was 900 points from lvl 16, now it shows back to 23k? I've logged out, loaded back in to Battlelog etc etc.
