i've played b2k for about 20 minutes and the colouring/saturation/contrast gave me a headache. i haven't had a headache from a videogame since i was about 12 and played wipeout on playstation 1. and that game involved driving wedges at 700mph through acid-trip maps whilst listening to pounding rave music. yeah... bf3...

i do feel like an idiot for sorta assumptively hoping that by reviving the 'classic' battlefield maps, they'd also revive the 'classic' (i.e. sane) colour palette. as it stands right now all the new maps are way too fucking bright and it just hurts my eyes to stare at it for too long... let alone trying to see any other players. it's fucking stupid. who tests this shit and thinks "YERP LOOKS GR8"

Serious as a heart attack. I've written a bunch of times how Bc2 was a better game. Rush was better. Gun play was more like Bf2's than BF3 is. It generally felt like warfare and was much closer to BF2 than BF3 is. BF3 feels like Call of Duty.

it's the reason you can't see shit and need a 3d spotting hud to actually find enemies

i was near hotel on karkand earlier stood next to a wall and if i looked at the actual wall (made of white brick) the glare would PHYSICALLY hurt me. like it was just so bright. like the wall positively beamed. it had a halo around it. i could see my own reflection sat in my computer chair, wide-eyed, by looking at this fucking wall of a building. whatever happened to the graphics of bf2? and why has the increase in detail/technology also meant a hyper-saturation of colour?
