I have less than 1 kdr, and less than 50 hours playing because I can't be playing BF3 24/7. I have IRL things to do.

I guess that makes me a fucking noob at games too. Oh well, it may be the case, but I don't need to make my epeen bigger by being amazing at a game that means nothing to anybody.

infantry: same as ever
maps: meaningless, 2 minutes into the game there's so much destruction the map you knew from BF2 is gone
tanks: on city maps you're surrounded by infantry that can instakill you = going on foot is more useful
helicopters: may as well go on foot for all the time you spend hiding/running from AA, if there's a tank anywhere you die to unstoppable instant kill guided missile
jets: f35 vs j-10 in BF2 has nothing on how bad it is now. utterly useless f35 that can't brake or turn properly

the vehicle combat is there, in BF3 and in B2K, it's just not even remotely balanced properly. shame cause they could have made something of it

nothing to do with epeen, is it? it's to do with having a clue about the wider game mechanics and about understanding the intricacies and finepoints of the game. when you're new/crap/not very good/in awe at visuals/happy playing something casually, you're not 'engaged' enough with the game to apply your critical faculties to it. the argument that a hardcore player only brags about "epeen" is just facile. a hardcore/top-level gamer simply knows the game inside and out, and understands its flaws/weaknesses/exploits like the back of his hand. a casual player never engages or gets into the game to a great/deep enough extent to understand these shortcomings.

Maps: You'd be moaning like a motherfucker if there was no destruction.
Tanks: It's always been that way.
Helicopters: Because so many players (including a fuck load from here) moaned that AA was too weak - this is what happens.
Jets: Well...Yeah, that sucks.

I got really annoyed when the vocal minority of whining babies cried about "lack of destruction" in the final version of BF3. I like it the way it is, and I'm sure a lot of other people did too. But they had their way and DICE promised increased destruction on B2K. Way too much. It's annoying and serves no purpose. Actually that was probably the mantra of the developers for this game, had it up on a huge banner in their office: ANNOYING. SERVES NO PURPOSE. When it came time to make a decision, it was always guided by "is it annoying or useless?" If they answer is yes, then put it in!! AWWW YEAHHHHHHH
