mine isnt near that expensive, thats like weapon level. mine can only... blind people. its pretty cool to be able to see the laser beam's trajectory and light up and entire room.
yea, supposedly you can blind pilots flying overhead with his..lol. I want one (that is considerably less expensive). They are good for stargazers, to point out stuff to friends/fam.

I read an article not to long ago about someone who lived near an airport who used a handheld laser to blind aircraft pilots... They eventually sent a surveillance craft up and he was eventually trialed for putting countless lives at risk iirc.
It's amazing that such tech is legal for the average consumer tbh...
EDIT: I think it was this guy

for a fatty you're a serious intellectual lightweight.
I think that even the regular red presentation pointers should be prohibited or limited in some way, here they are mostly used by poorly parented kids to shine other kids in the eyes with
Rarely ever see anyone use them for actual pointing (or playing with cats) like they are meant for...

red isnt nearly as dangerous though, i could quite easily blind someone with mine - which is why mine is basically always pointed upwards and away from people

your loss. is it a shitty cheap one?
htc hero. just don't want android. don't like it as much as iOS. Don't want to have to dick around with custom roms, different UIs etc. Just want a phone that "just works".Winston_Churchill wrote:

well if you got a nexus you most certainly wouldnt need to, its running ICS which is widely regarded as the current best mobile OS. "just works" isnt true at all, my dad likes his 4s the least out of the 5 or so phones he's used in the past year (he switches every couple months since he gets them free).
also your hero probably runs 2.1? youve missed out on a lot of what android is now. froyo, gingerbread and ice cream sandwich have improved it significantly

I'd be paranoid if I had Android these days

A mate of mine has the Samsung Galaxy S II, the OS doesn't feel anywhere near as polished or responsive as my boss' iPhone 4 does...
You all know how I feel about Apple sooo.. Yeah, saying I'd rather have an iPhone says alot...

I like pie.
how is it his loss if his user preference is for iOS?Winston_Churchill wrote:

arrogant little android geeks seem to think that everyone that uses a phone on a day to day basis wants to have it totally customisable.
the android mentality is like saying "no car is worth driving unless you can rebuild the engine from scratch in your garage". not everyone wants to do that. some people just want something that works and won't give them any annoying break-downs. the iphone 4s has great performance and is a top-rate phone. deal with it you little nerdfucker.
