The richest Ivy League schools (Yale, Harvard, Princeton) have financial aid so that only upper middle class and above (150k-180k per year) pay full tuition. There is a lot of rich people here (and lot of terrible people here) but it certainly isn't a bastion of the lazy and privileged.
